Dear Parents/Carers,
Term Two may have been a short term, however every term at
Rowville Primary School is full of learning opportunities and experiences for students. Students across the school have engaged in Literacy and Numeracy learning, cross country, incursions, kitchen class for Year 3-6, interschool sports days, shopping for Mother’s Day gifts and our open morning during Education Week.
This week, our Year 3 & 4 Choir and senior school production leads performed at local kindergartens for World Music Day. Under the direction of our esteemed performing arts teacher Mr Birnie, students have been regularly rehearsing. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to share their hard work and perform to the wider community. We thank Kool Kidz Rowville and Haven Early Learning for their warm welcome.

Semester one student reports are now available on Compass. Student reports provide families with information on how students are progressing in their learning across the learning areas and capabilities of the Victorian Curriculum. I encourage you to download your child’s report and celebrate their learning growth and achievements at school this semester. Parents will have the opportunity to discuss their child’s learning progress with both classroom and specialist teachers in Term Three. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday 3rd August (3:30pm - 7:15pm) and Thursday 4th August (3:30pm - 5:30pm). Bookings will be available on Compass next term.
I wish all families a relaxing holiday break.
