As shared on Compass we are pleased to announce our campus structure for 2023 has been finalized. Please see a section of Sheena Watt’s message regarding our campuses below:

Following extensive consultation with the school community, I am really excited to announce that the new North Melbourne Primary School (NMPS) campus on Molesworth Street will operate as a P-2 campus, and the existing campus on Errol Street will operate as a Year 3-6 campus.

This will allow all students in the same year level to be on a single campus, ensuring friendship groups can be kept together. It will also support the school to have its year-level teaching teams on the same site. Having all prep students on the same campus as the new kindergarten will help with the smooth transition from kindergarten to Prep.

The two campuses are very close together and all students will be able to benefit from the facilities at each site which are only a few minutes’ walk apart.

We are excited about the opportunities this creates for our students at NMPS and look forward to the opening of our new campus in 2023. We thank our school community for their participation in our survey earlier in the term.
