FIRE Carriers
Some of the 5/6 students recently worked with Louise Levy from Catholic Education Sandhurst. They have expressed interested in working as a FIRE Carrier (Friends Igniting Reconciliation through Education). The students reflected on prayer written by an Aboriginal elder and spoke about how it sat with them. Louise spoke to the students about the importance of showing care for our land, the way Aboriginal people have for thousands of years. Louise will come back during the term to work with students to become FIRE Carriers. There will be a commissioning on Wednesday 16th August.
