Some events to look forward to this term:
We can't wait to share our learning with you this term!
If you missed our Term Three overviews:
Our 2023 NAPLAN Reports were sent home to our families earlier this week.
This year, new standards for NAPLAN reporting have been introduced. There are now 4 proficiency levels: Exceeding, Strong, Developing and Needs additional support.
More information on these proficiency levels can be found in the information sheet provided below.
We are so proud of our students for their achievements in NAPLAN this year.
A snapshot of our 2023 NAPLAN data:
NAPLAN tests are only one aspect of our school’s assessment and reporting process. As these assessments are held once every 2 years for each student, they cannot replace the extensive, ongoing assessments, made by our teachers, about our student performance and achievement.
Each student at Holy Spirit should be proud of their NAPLAN achievements this year just as we are. We are so proud of our Year 3 and 5 students and cannot wait to share some further infromation with our school community in the coming weeks.
More information about NAPLAN can be found: https://www.nap.edu.au/naplan/results-and-reports
Keep your eyes out for the upcoming release of our STEM reports. You will receive an email when the reports are updated and ready to be viewed via the Parent Portal. A dojo will be posted the day of release.
Amazing effort by Holy Spirit! Our reading tally is up to a whopping 1366 books.
Our most read books:
36 days left of the challenge. It's not too late to join if you would like to. Information and logins are available via your class announcement section on your child's/children's classroom Dojo.
We can't wait to keep sharing our reading progress with you.
The Library will be open to our families, before school, on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week, from 8:35 - 8:50am. You are welcome to visit Trish in the library to read with your child or borrow a book.
Thanks to 1/2D for sharing their learning at assembly in Week 2.
Please check the school calendar for the class presenting at assembly each week. Assembly will be held each week at 2:30pm.
Have the best fortnight!!
