This week in Mathematics, we are learning to understand different symbols in maths. 

VOCABULARY

Addition: combine numbers to make bigger.

Subtract: make smaller when one number is taken away from another number.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Play a game with your child where you identify a word to describe either addition or subtraction and your child needs to identify which one it links to.
