Matilda's Poem - Year 5 Students

On Wednesday, the whole school was buzzing with the excitement of the Matilda's match in the Semi-Final of the Women's World Cup.

Year 5 students, Eden, Sophie and Abi worked diligently in Literacy to write a poem titled "Women's World Cup". 

In preparation of the semi-final action, our staff and students were treated to a fantastic reading over the PA system by our esteemed authors. They did a great job and received a thunderous applause that could be heard in Reception! 

Well done Eden,  Sophie and Abi! Thank you for making Wednesday afternoon such a fun day!
