Developing successful life skills
Year 10 Subject Selection
Year 10 Subject Selection Evening took place on Tuesday, 1 August and was a success. The event was a fantastic opportunity for both parents and students to gain valuable insights into the upcoming academic journey as senior students next year.
Parents and students were addressed by informative and engaging speakers, Trudy Noller from UAC and Mr. Nicholas Chambour Head of Teacher Careers and Educational Pathways Program. Their expertise and guidance provided a comprehensive understanding of the subject selection process, ATAR and non-ATAR pathways ensuring that parents and students were well-equipped to make informed decisions about their educational paths.
I would like to thank the Year 10 Year Advisers, our dedicated Careers Team, and all the staff members who generously devoted their time and effort in supporting students. Following the Subject Selection Evening, students and parents had their individual interview to determine their pattern of study. The interviews allowed students to discuss their aspirations, goals, and subject preferences with our experienced staff members, ensuring that each student's academic journey aligns with their interests and future aspirations.
Thank you to all who participated and contributed to the success of the Year 10 Subject Selection process. All the resources are available via the Year 10 Google Classroom and our Careers website.
Together, we are fostering an environment of growth, learning, and achievement for our students.
