Uniform Shop Update

Winter Stock

The Uniform Shop has supply of long navy pants, the Yr 3-6 girls pinafore, the Yr 7-10 girls skirt, navy tights, long sleeve shirts and knitwear plus outerwear options of a lined raincoat for PK-2 and ski japara for years 3 to 12.

We are still awaiting a few items:

-          Duffle coats expected early April

-          Remaining blazer orders expected 2nd week of April

 

New In-store

We have received a number of new items to the shop.

-          Junior School haversack / sports bag.

-          Sports skort. Able to be worn instead of the sports shorts as part of the PE uniform.

-          Sports training range.  As pictured below, this optional range includes short sleeve and long sleeve tops in white or navy as well as a navy hoodie.  These pieces are able to be worn for morning or afternoon training and on weekends.  NOTE: they are not to be worn in place of the PE uniform.

-          PK-2 polo dresses

 

Summer Dresses

The girls summer dress for years 3 to 12 has been very popular and it’s lovely to see so many wearing it. Just a reminder when purchasing, please ensure there is room to move freely, it is not too tight and the length falls to the middle of the knee.

 

Winter Specialist Sport

New uniforms for each specialist sport will be introduced starting with the upcoming winter season.  New stock of sport items for rugby, football, netball and hockey are due late March/early April.

Supported Laptop Store - Term 2 Orders

We are pleased to announce that the supported laptop store for the BYOLT (Bring Your Own Laptop) program will be re-opening from Wednesday 23 March.

 

The supported laptop store will remain open until Monday 18 April – any orders received by this date are guaranteed to be received by the ICT team and made ready for learning for the start of Term 2.

 

Based on the demand and feedback from the lead up to Term 1 we have successfully secured a new supplier agreement and have access to more reliable stock and higher priority shipping.

 

A third ‘high performance’ laptop option will be made available soon with a dedicated graphics card for design students: in particular for students interested in any graphics, animation, gaming, video or photographic processing software.

Duke of Edinburgh – Adventurous Journey (Camps Week)

As part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award participants are required to undertake an Adventurous Journey (AJ). Students in Year 9,10 and 11 who are enrolled in the Duke of Edinburgh that wish to travel to Kosciuszko National Park to complete their AJ are asked to email Mr Callaghan- lcallaghan@kws.nsw.edu.au ASAP.

 

The expedition will be capped at 20 students. Participants will camp in the National Park and complete day trips over the four days with a mountain bike and hiking component each day. The Duke of Edinburgh Award requires participants to self-cater for their AJ. This AJ is for Non Cadets.

 

Dates: Monday 4 April – Thursday 7 April.

Location: Kosciuszko National Park

Cost: Approx. $150.00

 

Duke of Edinburgh at Kinross Wolaroi

 

The Duke of Edinburgh is a non-competitive self-development international program available to all young people which encourages them to set and achieve goals at a level appropriate to their needs and aspirations. The award is comprised of three levels each progressively more challenging.

 

BRONZE- 14 years and older

SILVER- 15 years and older

GOLD – 16 year and older

“Duke drop in Fridays” are every Friday of the Term in Room 86- Anderson Centre at 100pm.
