An Exchange in Cultural Knowledge

It was a great experience when I hosted my third Japanese exchange student, and we exchanged knowledge of our cultures.  Mai cooked for our family for two nights, making a Japanese pancake, and our family provided fish and chips as she had never tasted them before.  We had great fun driving down to Williamstown, and we showed our two exchange students the beach (as we had Vietnamese and Japanese visitors).  I still keep in contact with them now, and we talk frequently.  These experiences have helped me develop an understanding of other ways of living elsewhere in the world.
