OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Outdoor Education Week

From September 1 to 5, Kew High School celebrated Outdoor Education week. The week showcased to the whole school community what Outdoor Education is about, as well as allowing all students to experience a whole range of exciting activities at lunch time.

Outdoor Education is about building on independence and interdependence whilst experiencing the wonderful outdoors in an exciting way that extends our personal limits. Some of the activities included a bike challenge course, a Trangia stove cooking competition, the adventure film festival and a mobile rock-climbing wall. Kew High School would like to thank AUSCAMP and IVANHOE CYCLES for their continued support of this program by supplying activities, prizes and giveaways.
