Last Thursday, we celebrated Remembrance Day.  Our Mini Vinnies Leadership Team led the school with our Remembrance Day Liturgy. We sang, prayed and watched videos about the importance of the day and the significance of the poppy.

The team laid a wreath and raised the flag from half mast after a minute's silence.

Many students also completed activities, learning more about Remembrance Day in their respective classrooms. 

Lest We Forget.

The Mini Vinnies continued to display their commitment to the school community this week by assisting Mrs Lloyd, our Well Being Leader, to prepare food for the Breakfast Club.  The students recognise the importance of serving others as they have learnt how the works of the St Vincent de Paul Society can be fulfilled at a school level by their efforts.
