Principal's Message

Liam Buckley

Dear Families

This week we celebrate the feast days of St Patrick and St Joseph.

Prayers to St. Joseph, the foster-father of Jesus, date back almost as far as Our Lord’s time! Although he came from King David’s noble lineage, St. Joseph lived a life of great humility and devotion to his Holy Family as a carpenter.

St Joseph's Feast Day Mass is Friday at 9.15am and you are welcome to join us.

St. Patrick's prayer for the faithful captures the wonderful spirit that made him Ireland's patron saint and one of the Church’s most beloved missionaries.

Thank you

Thank you for supporting us with your fundraising for the Colour Fun Run. We were blessed with a great day and the colour was perfect for St Patrick's Day. Thank you to Trish and team for the milkshakes - perfect after a warm day and a run!

Dolphin Ambassadors

Thank you to Dom and Mrs Kelliher for taking our Dolphin Ambassadors to Sorrento to snorkel and learn all about our beautiful Bay.

Parents are invited to join their children for the class based liturgies over the next few weeks. The times are as follows :

Parent & Friends (P&F)

What is the P&F

St Joseph's P&F is a group of parents working with a common interest,  alongside the school Leadership Team to develop connections within the school and wider community.

What does the P&F do?

The P&F organises a number of events throughout the year to enable families to meet and socialise and bring the wider community together.  They also raise funds for the school to provide additional resources, school improvements, and amenities that benefit the whole school.  It is also a great way to meet other families.

Fundraising will be for:

  • Wellbeing resources
  • Supporting the Production
  • Existing Playground debt
  • Future upkeep of tennis area

How can you help?

Come along to the first P&F meeting of 2021 and see how you can contribute to our wonderful community.

'Junior Joeys'

Junior Joeys is the new focus for our future enrolments. We are hoping to attract families in our community who may have otherwise chosen different primary schools. Check out the website page and please share with friends and neighbours if they have 3 and 4 year old children. The Junior Joeys' program will run through Term 2 every second Wednesday and is a lead into our formal transition from kinder to school.
