Kiss and Drop Reminders
A reminder to all families using the Kiss and Drop Lane: All adults must stay in the car, at all times. This includes the morning. Please don’t get out of the car to kiss your child goodbye or assist them with their school bag. To use the Kiss and Drop Lane, students must be able to independently navigate their seat belt and school bag and be able to alight from the car on their own. If your child is not able to do this, please park and walk them to the classroom. In the afternoon, again, please stay in the car, staff will assist students into the car and buckle them in.
Further reminders:
- When dropping off in the morning, please proceed to the front of the queue. Do not stop at the top crossing to let Secondary Students, this slows the process down.
- Students may unload all the way up to the crossing. Do not wait to be the first car in the queue.
- All students need to get out of the car at the same time.
- Students may only exit the car from the curb side or rear of the car, not the driver’s side.
- For safety, please remind students to stay behind the red line on the concrete
