Calrossy On Tour

Last week Courtney Coe (Head of Boarding) and Michael Wilson (School Development Coordinator) attended the Isolated Children Parents Association (ICPA) State Conference in Hay. This was not only to show Calrossy’s ongoing support for the ICPA but to learn firsthand the latest trends and issues affecting remote NSW students. There was a lot of positive conversations in and around the new distance education platform eCalrossy from the delegates who came from across NSW and travelled a long way to represent their community.  Courtney and Michael were able to meet with parents from Broken Hill who have students in Yr 7 this year and discuss opportunities for 2022 for Yr's  5, 6, 7 and 8.

We would like to acknowledge the ICPA's dedication to regional Australia and thank all of volunteers from local branches – NSW State Council and the Federal ICPA members for their efforts in promoting the opportunities for rural, regional and remote students.
