Prep Ricketts Point Excursion

Prep Excursion to Ricketts Point

The Prep classes enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach on Friday 20th October!

We walked around the rock pools at Rickett’s Point Marine Sanctuary and spotted a few crabs and lots of interesting seaweed and rock formations.

We marvelled at God’s amazing creation as we studied some artefacts including a seahorse, sea star, pelican feather, crab claws and eggs from a Port Jackson shark.

We were reminded of our role as responsible stewards of God’s world as we searched for things that belong on the beach and those things that don’t belong there (like rubbish).

A definite highlight of this exciting day was a paddle in the (cool!) water and an opportunity to create amazing sand sculptures.

We’re thankful for God’s provision of sunny weather for the day and for the parents who came along to help.
