Dear Friends,

Us

You laugh, and so do I.

You cry, and so do I.

You have feelings, and so do I.

You eat, and so do I.

You live, and so do I.

But there is one thing I can't do

I can't be you.

You can't be me.

We are the same but different.

Written by Joseph Zhu, 3M

This is a wonderful poem that Joseph wrote!  Joseph is correct, we are the same (made in the image of God) but we are different.

God made each of us unique, with varying gifts and skills and personalities, to contribute to His world in a way that no-one else can.

It is amazing when you can really understand that we are all made for a particular purpose in this world.  When we can grasp that fact, life makes sense and education becomes a vital tool in this realisation.

That is one of the things I love about Christian Education.  It is not just about developing knowledge and skills – but about developing values, purpose and vision.

Blessings to all our Year 12 students

As our Year 12 students finish their thirteen years of schooling this week, we pray that they will be equipped to cope in this changing world.  That they can critically evaluate what truth really is and not seek to conform to the world, but celebrate who they are and who they are becoming in Christ.

All the best, Year 12 students!  Know you are more than your VCE marks and know that in God, you can do immeasurably more than you could ever imagine.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us…”   Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)

Be blessed,
