The movie airing is Finding Dory and the event is open to the public and MGC community, so we would love for you to bring your family friends along to this carnival like event!

A quick overview of what the enviro team does and has achieved:

Conduct sustainability projects around the school and local community. Some projects we have conducted include; soft plastics collection project, introducing frog bogs in the area, energy efficiency projects, vege burger bbq and more!

Won $100 000 USD from winning the Zayed Future Energy Prize ( from the Internationally famous Masdar Institute in the UAE) and installed a massive array of solar panels, micro hydro inverter where students can charge their phones with green power, salty the seal - an interactive solar fountain and converted 4 indoor rowing machines into energy generators to power up lights that rowers use during training.

Conduct major events: Annual Human Powered Pedal Cinema (open to public), year 7 tree day and Annual student environment conference (invited to all high schools in Victoria)

Raise awareness among the school community in regards to environmental issues, which also includes ecological waste, water and climate change with the help of our awesome mascots, LanLan and BoBo.

Looking forward to seeing you there to work on more exciting projects to do our bit for the Environment.

From your environment captains for 2017
