Messages from the Front Office

Welcome Mr Keenan

Marangaroo PS staff would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Principal Mr Adrian Keenan. Mr Keenan visited every classroom on Monday to introduce himself to students. Please make sure you say hello if you see him around the school at drop off and pick up.

Staff Giving Program

On Monday 19 July the Marangaroo PS Staff participated in a school development day that incorporated activities around the theme of 'giving back'.  As part of the program of the day staff worked together to take on group challenges and made up gift packs for the homeless with the items they collected and purchased along the way.  It was great to see everyone having fun working together and giving back to the community. Over 15 bags were put together by staff and they were donated to the Perth Homeless Support Group for distribution to those members of our community in need.

Connor Morris Year 6

Connor and his family are thrilled to announce that after 12 months  Connor's treatment of chemotherapy and radiotherapy has finished.  Connor will now just have regular checkups to ensure he remains cancer free.

Congratulations Connor.  Connor remained confident and upbeat throughout all his treatments.  He has been an absolute legend through all of this and everyone here at MPS wishes you well in your return to a normal life with no hospital visits and schedules to stick to.  We also want to mention how wonderful his brothers Travis and Kobe have been in supporting and caring for Connor during this time.

Open Night Tuesday 10 August 5-6pm

This year our open night is being called "Tour de School".  Please keep the above date and time slot free so that you can be a part of it.
