Magis report
Congratulations to all Year 7 Magis students on their outstanding Personal Projects that went on display this week. A full report will be circulated next week.
The famous Bell Shakespeare Company performed for well over one-hundred Years 7 & 8 students.
On Saturday morning Year 12 students, Caitlin Green and Oscar Hegge will be competing in the grand final of the West Australian 'Speak for Faith' competition at the Catholic Education office. We wish them luck! Caitlin and Oscar were the winner and runner-up in the John XXIII Public Speaking competition this year.
On Tuesday 29 June the make-up round for the Western Australian Debating League competition takes place at Shenton College. Our Year 11 & 12 teams will be competing against each other.
Next Wednesday 30 June the John XXIII final for the FameLab will be taking place in the GBLT at 7:30am. Good luck to all six finalists. The winner will compete at Heath Ledger Theatre in August.
Finally, The John XXIII Creative Writing competition (short stories) is now open and students have until week 2 of Term 3 to submit entries. A flyer below has all the details.
