Happy snaps from the past fortnight!

'Double, double toil and trouble...'

Senior School students dusted off their acting chops on Thursday 1 July when they engaged in an interactive performance of Macbeth: The Rehearsal, based on the play written by William Shakespeare.

Presented by Australian theatre company, Bell Shakespeare, the performance will serve as an introduction to students' learning for Term 3.

A day for dress-ups

From police officers to commercial builders and every other occupation in between, the Kinder Wallabies explored a range of imaginary scenarios recently through role playing and dress-up play.

Poetry, from the page to the stage

At the end of Term 2, Year 7 students were treated to a dynamic poetry performance by touring theatre company, Poetry in Action.

As well as being highly entertaining, the show gave students a newfound appreciation for poetry, literature and the power of language as a form of self-expression.

A special shout out must go to student Alice Lennon, who did a fantastic job leading the performers in a song during one of the sets.

Beyond the classroom

A number of Year 11 students recently volunteered their time at the Salvation Army Tasmania as part of their community outreach. By participating in the workshops, students were inspired to not just learn about the issues facing thousands of Australians every day, but to take action to help make a difference.

NanoVision 2021

EuroVision may be a worldwide sensation, but have you heard of NanoVision? Students took to the stage at the end of the term to celebrate creative arts in a friendly inter-house talent show. Well done to all students who took part!
