Principal's Report

Thank you

We were so excited to be able to return to on-site learning yesterday. Students have come back to school in good spirits and it has been so wonderful to hear their ideas and laughter spreading through the classroom and yard again. In class students have been continuing with their learning from the week and settling back into school routines.

Once again, we are so grateful to our whole school community for their perseverance during this latest period of Remote and Flexible Learning and thank you for your support.

Reports

Reports were made live on Compass on Friday, July 23rd. Portfolios will come home over the next week, if they haven’t already.

We encourage you to share the positives from reports with your children and enjoy looking through their portfolio with them. They have worked very hard over Semester One to achieve great results and we are very proud of their efforts.

As always, should you have questions about your child's learning and progress, families are welcome and encouraged to communicate with their child's classroom teacher at any point in the year. At this time this needs to be over the phone, webex or email, we are hopeful that the restrictions to parents being in classrooms will be lifted soon.

Attitudes to School Survey

If you have a student in year 4, 5 or 6 they will have the opportunity to complete the Attitudes to School Survey next week. The Attitudes to School Survey is an annual student survey offered by the Department of Education and Training to assist schools to gain an understanding of students' perceptions and experience of school. As a school we use the survey results to plan programs and activities to improve your child's schooling experience. If your child is in Year 4,5 or 6 and you would like more information please refer to the Compass post titled ‘Attitudes to School Survey’.
