During remote learning Grade 5/6 students have been looking at poems during reading and writing sessions. We have read various poems looking at structure, poetic devices and mood. 

We were able to compose autobiographical poems during our writing sessions. 

What are autobiographical poems?

An autobiographical poem is a descriptive poem written about yourself. Autobiographical poems have several lines. Each line provides information about the author of the poem. It includes information such as your character traits, loves, fears, hobbies and needs.
