Year 5

                                                       Goldfield's Excursion

Year 5 are learning about life on the Goldfields in the 1800s. We had a fantastic time on our excursion to the Bathurst Goldfields. Students joined in on a hands on gold tour with a strong focus on life in colonial Australia, within a carefully reconstructed 1800s goldfield’s village. Highlights incuded panning for gold, cooking damper on a campfire, playing colonial games and tent making.
