ANZAC Day Service

Today, our school participated in the ANZAC service to commemorate those who have served our country through the armed forces.
The event was a moving occasion, as students and staff gathered to honor the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women. The ceremony was led by the Student Representative Council (SRC), who did an outstanding job of leading us throughout the ceremony. The SRC's respectful demeanor set the tone for a fitting tribute to the ANZACs.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the sight of so many children wearing their badges and wrist bands and bringing in flowers to be placed by the flagpole. It was heartening to see our students showing their support for the ANZACs and recognizing the significance of the occasion in their own special way. Each symbol represented a small gesture of gratitude and respect, and it was a privilege to witness the display of unity and remembrance among our school community.
The ANZAC Day ceremony was a reminder of the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women, and the importance of honoring their memory. We are grateful for the opportunity to pay tribute to those who have fought for our freedoms, and we will continue to remember their sacrifices with reverence and gratitude. Lest we forget.
