Year 7 & 8 Drama

In Year 7 Drama students completed some excellent performances in Year 7 showing the Expressive Skills (Voice, Gesture, Body Language and Facial Expressions) in comedic and slapstick performances. The Year 7’s excelled this term showing how they can collaborate and communicate to put on some truly humorous sketches.

Year 8 students this term completed several short performances using the various elements of Drama to present comedic short scenes that were design to demonstrate the use of the Expressive Skills. Students designed, devised and directed their scenes to present them in the last week of Term 1.

Year 7 & 8 Music 

In Music Year 7 & 8 students completed their first assessments on their instruments for the year (Ukulele for Year 7s and Guitar for Year 8s). Not only have they learnt specific fine motor skills on the instruments but students also demonstrated collaboration, team work, listening skills, perseverance and growth when working on the various songs and exercises.
