During Term 1 students in Year 5 made 3D posters based on what we have learnt about plant adaptations to the environment.

Year 3 students have been studying life stages of herbs and vegetables by germinating seeds and watching them grow into seedlings.

Year 1 students learnt about plant parts and how plants grow. We know that leaves have veins to carry water and nutrients. We collected leaves and created ‘leaf rubs with colour pencils’ to show the pattern of veins.

Students in Year 6 have been investigating states of matter. We experimented with the properties of Oobleck which is a non-Newtonian fluid and acts like a solid and a liquid.
