Principal's Report

Hello BRPS Community,

Welcome back for Term 2! After a nice long break for students, I hope that everyone is well rested and ready for a successful term ahead.

Term 2 is a short one with plenty highlights and more significant events planned, includ the Mother's Day Lunch, Year 3 & 4 swimming, Year 5 camp, whole-school Cross Country, Year 5 & 6 Winter Interschool Sports and further preparation for the concert. There is also recognition of National Reconciliation Week, Semester 1 Reports and Parent/Teacher Conferences, in addition to many year-level excursions and extracurricular events. As always, I encourage you to tune into Compass, access the calendar regularly (on a desktop/laptop – it can be difficult to read on a mobile device) to keep track of all that is happening for your children.

ANZAC Day Ceremony

BRPS was represented by student leaders at the Beaumaris RSL and Hampton RSL ANZAC Day services last week.

Supported by their families, student leaders Harry, Heidi and Emelia, together with staff member Jo Hill, attended the Beaumaris RSL service on Sunday 23rd April, with Harry, Emelia and Year 6 teacher Mr Adam Littlehales attending the Hampton RSL service on Wednesday 26th April.

The students respectfully laid a wreath and were outstanding ambassadors for our school. We're very proud of them and thank them and their families, as well as the staff for supporting this special occasion.

If you are aware of any families that are seeking a school for next year please direct them to our website for information about these events and the enrolment process. Sibling enrolments are now open, please contact the office for enrolment forms.
