Top Class Music 2023

Top Class Music features incredible young students who received very high grades for their VCE music performance examinations in 2022.

Duncan  Lee began learning with me in 2021. He was already an accomplished pianist, and really only required a little guidance to make his talent blossom. Despite the difficulties of the extended lockdowns and all the challenges of that difficult time, Duncan completed his Performance Diploma (Honours) in 2021 and his Associate Diploma (Honours) as well as Grade 5 music theory in 2022. 

In my opinion, Duncan combines his natural musical abilities, with expressive sensitivity and a rigorous practice routine. Seeing him perform on the concert platform of the Recital Centre with the highest achievers in 2022, Solo Performance Units 3 & 4, was a proud moment for me as well as for all of Donvale. 

Bravo, Duncan! We cherish your God-give gifts, and admire the diligence with which you have made them bear fruit.
