EREA National Football Tournament

Team sVc finished a very credible 4th place in the recent 2023 EREA National Football (Soccer) Tournament hosted by St Joseph’s Nudgee College in Brisbane.

Going into the tournament as defending champions, Team sVc battled hard to finish the pool games in 2nd place.  Unfortunately, the bounce of the ball didn’t go their way in the semi-finals. Still a mighty effort against the best EREA soccer teams in the country.

Another fine example of our College providing outstanding sporting opportunities that will enhance our students’ experiences, whilst also further reinforcing school spirit and the holistic education provided to our young men. Well done to all students, staff and supporters on representing our College on the National stage with such distinction.

SSATIS Aussie Rules Football 2nds

History was made last week as Team sVc followed in the footsteps of the College's cricket team and re-entered statewide SATIS 2nds Football for the first time in 30 years.

Fielding a young and small side, Team sVc embraced the challenge against the older and bigger bodies of the GYC team to win by five points. Well done boys. A truly great occasion and match that was played in terrific spirit.
