New NESA Proficient Teacher Orientation Course
New NESA orientation course available for teachers working towards Proficient Teacher
NESA’s orientation course introduces new teachers to Proficient Teacher accreditation and the steps involved in attaining this important milestone.
The course is mandatory for teachers who open a new Proficient Teacher application from 29 November 2022.

For anyone looking to enhance their Professional Development please take a look at the NESA Online Learning Hub. All you need to do is log in and explore the elective and accredited PD courses available.
A reminder that pre 2004 teachers have an extension until the end of 2023 to obtain their maintenance hours.

ECT Accreditation Workshop
The ECT Accreditation workshops will be on the following dates:
5th June 2023 - Tamworth
7th June 2023 - Armidale
13th June 2023 - Moree
Please register if you are a new early-career teacher to our system. You are also welcome to attend if you require further information regarding proficient teacher accreditation requirements.
The workshop will cover the requirements of the Proficient Teacher Submission.
