TERM 2 ACS P.E SCOPE AND SEQUENCE
Sporting Legends and Local Sporting Clubs Wall
Throughout the year, if you have a child who is kicking goals (literally and figuratively) for their local sporting club, please let one of the PE teachers know so we can celebrate their success in P.E and at assembly. We also display photos of students in their sporting club uniform on our Local Sporting Clubs wall in the gym foyer. Please send a photo via email to your child/s P.E teacher so we can add it to the wall. This display has created a great sense of club pride around the school. It is also a great way for other students to see who at ACS is part of a local sport they may like to join. Check it out next time you walk through the gym hallway!
Diversity Dash
Our Diversity Dash colour run was a huge success on the last day of term 1. Thanks to everyone who got involved, it was a very memorable day for our school community. Thanks so much to our parent volunteers for jumping in and throwing the colour at our students.
Girls 5/6 AFL Gala Day
In the last week of Term 1, some of our Year 5/6 girls headed to Barwon oval to compete in an Inter School Gala Day. The girls had a lot of fun playing footy and did a great job at representing ACS on the day! Thanks to our year 6 teacher Cam for coaching the girls. Congratulations to Susana who was recognised for her skills by Western Heights recruiters.
Cross Country Results
Congratulations to all our students who participated in the ACS Cross Country. Fearnley House took first place with 13,000 points!
