A word from Ian...

Welcome to Term 3 – A busy unexpected return to Remote Learning. Thank you for supporting your children’s learning and this new lockdown.

We will get through this and be back to school hopefully very soon.

Sculpture

Our sculpture has been installed as the main feature of our Kitchen Garden. The large garden should be started in September

Our Big World

We are having our book that families contributed to last year with stories from around the world published. We are excited to finally see this book come to life.

Website

We are currently building a new website for our school. We can’t wait to launch the site in the next few weeks.

Enrolments

It has been difficult having school tours this year. We have a virtual tour of our school for those parents wishing to look around the school. We will launch this in our website.

Enrolments are open for all year levels. We are asking for all preps in particular to be enrolled as soon as possible to assist with 2021 planning.

Bird Houses

Thank you for making all those bird boxes. We would love to collect all the bird houses to put them in our school yard ready for the return of our children. If you have made a bird house please bring to school and leave in our entry foyer. Please do not bring into the office.

Remote Learning

Webex meetings are live every Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings. Please use Seesaw to access all the learning activities. The instructional videos are critical to assist with all the learning tasks.

Goal Setting Meetings

Thank you for your support in meeting teachers on Webex and discussing the learning goals for your children.

Kitchen Garden 

Our smaller kitchen garden has been completed and is now ready for planting. We have some carrots growing that should be ready to harvest when we return. A big thank you to Conrad and all of the volunteers who worked very hard to complete this project.

Community Space

Our Community space is nearing completion with the finishing touches being done now. Karen has been busy painting, Conrad is working hard laying the tiles and furniture has been ordered. It will look amazing when it is finished.
