Sleep tips

This week we refer to an article written to assist families to prioritise sleep. With many young people experiencing heightened stress, it is important that they are waking up well rested and ready to start the day.

Is your child in a good sleep routine? If the answer is 'no', then it might be time to go back to basics and establish a new nightly routine. Bad habits can creep in and it is vital to address these when they begin to have an impact on your child's functioning. Are they tired and emotional? Is it a battle to get them up, dressed and ready for school in the morning? Are they spending increased time in bed and on devices? These are all signs that your child may need more sleep.
