Mr Butts' Announcements

Principal

Welcome Back!

Welcome to Term 3 everyone. We continue to live in very uneasy and uncertain times due to the covid19 pandemic, but  I must say however, our families are showing great resilience and the students are coping with the current conditions as best as could be expected. Hang in there everyone!

New Awards

We have recently updated our Students of the Week awards, which now include a Mercy Award for each classroom.  This new award recognises students who demonstrate the Gospel values of love, forgiveness, understanding and respect.

Book Fair

Thank you to Maree Williams & Nerissa for once again organising the Book Fair.  It's wonderful to see that the children still love books so much (as well as posters with puppies and kittens!).

This years Book Fair has raised an amazing $1800 in extra resources for the school library.

Pupil Free Day

Please note Friday 28th August will be a pupil free day.  The teachers will be taking part in Maths Professional Development.

Arriving Late to School

Just a reminder that if your child is late coming to school, an adult is required sign them in at the office. Thank you for your cooperation regarding this.

Each Saturday, a video of Mons Peter celebrating the Sunday mass is emailed out to families and parishioners. Click below to view last week's mass:

Art at St Mary's

I am always amazed at the fantastic art work our students produce with Mrs Wilson.  Rylan, Hunter, Rhylee and Kobe are pictured here with abstract art they completed during the week.

Reading Tips for Parents

Parents are doing a wonderful job listening to their children read.  Click here for some reading prompts that will help with your child's reading sessions.

New School App

Please note that our old school App is no longer functional, Simon Everywhere is our new communication centre and offers the same features as the old App. We ask families to discontinue using the old App, in particular for student absences, and ensure you have access to Simon Everywhere.
