4/5J have been looking at different types of poetry over the first few weeks of remote learning.
They have written poems about colour-Tongue twisters, feelings poems and some rap poems.

I would like to introduce myself to you
My name is Joe, how do you do?
I like playing video games like roblox
and star wars that kind of rocks
My favourite food is burrito and I always eat all the tomatoes
Animals I love are wolf and dingos
Tassie Devils are cool look out they might eat yo
Hey my name is Matilda,
I love to read a book,
but I don’t like to cook.
I to make up songs,
but I don’t like to wear thongs.
I used to play the guitar,
but then I took it to far.
I love to climb trees,
but I don’t like bees.
And that’s all I have got to say about me.
What is yellow? Cheese is yellow and so is jello
What is green? Plants are green and so are beans
What is violet? Passionfruit is violet and so is my pilot
What is orange? A carrot is orange and so is my porridge

Blue is the colour of the ocean, and the waves crashing against the sand,
Blue is the colour of the sky, you can look at it but you can`t touch it,
Blue is the colour of flowers gracefully dancing in the meadows,
Blue is the colour of me, it represents me in every way.
