Happy Holidays

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Upon reflecting on 2020 so far at LNPS and the unusual circumstances we have found ourselves in, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all again for your ongoing support and encouragement you showed to everyone at school.

The support we received from the LNPS community has had a really positive effect on the moral of staff and played a huge role in our ability to keep providing high quality teaching and learning during  very challenging times.

Hopefully Semester 2 will continue to be positive and filled with tremendous learning opportunities for all students.

The continual easing of COVID-19 restrictions means a ‘return to normal’ for us in terms of work, hobbies/past-times and family life. Perhaps some of you will have the chance to take a trip locally, catch up with friends and family and have the rest you deserve, much like the hard-working LNPS staff.

Don't forget early dismissal this Friday at 2:10pm.

We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and looking forward to seeing you all back in Term 3.

COVID-19 Update

Assemblies

We will holding school assemblies beginning this Friday. However no parents/families are able to be in attendance yet, sorry (we are investigating the possibility of students who are presenting graduate speeches having limited family attending).

Due to this we will be hosting this weeks assembly on Facebook Live from 9am. At this stage this will be a one off broadcast as we are hoping that restrictions will be further eased next term and parent/families will be able to attend assemblies.

Sports Day

At this stage Sports Day has been scheduled for Thursday 5th November. This is a tentative date but please add this to your calendar.

We are very hopeful that families will be able to attend, however if restrictions are still in place we will still hold Sports Day with students and teachers and attempt to broadcast some of the action. How all this works will be decided closer to the date.

Community Night

Due to the uncertainty of restrictions Community Night will be cancelled this year.

We appreciate everyones understanding with these decisions and if things change we will inform the school community as soon as possible.
