P-2 Storytime Meets
On Monday, the students in P-2 logged on to listen to Ann read a story. This week it was a book titled Tilly by Jane Godwin. It is one of the picture story books shortlisted for this year's CBCA awards. After the story we all had a chance to chat together about the story. Then we completed a written activity about the book, and played some online games related to the story that were linked on our website. Each week, we'll listen to a new story. Wonder what next week's will be?
Healthy Mind, Healthy Eating and Staying Active
This term, P-2 have been learning about what it means to be healthy. Each fortnight the students have participated in two group Meets related to their Inquiry topic. The first Meet is used to discuss any thoughts or wonderings the students have about having a healthy mind and eating healthy (staying active is still to come). The second Meet of the fortnight requires the students to 'take action' and create something to show what they have learnt. The focus for this fortnight was 'Healthy Eating'. Take a look at the photographs below to see what amazing healthy plate creations the students came up with.
What Else Have P-2 Been Up To?
Have a look through the photo's below to see what the Prep, Year 1's and Year 2's have been busy learning while at home.

Dear Parishioners,
My name is Josh. I am from Sacred Heart school. It is really good there but now it is not good because of the online schooling that we do.
I hope all of you are okay. Please do not go outside because COVID 19 is spreading so quickly.
I hope that you are in good health.
I know there are lots of people who have died in the world. I hope that you are happy staying at home. I know it is a hard thing to stay home so much, so please try to do this for your benefit. I know how hard it is to stay home because I am doing online schooling. I really hope this ends quickly and we can see each other again.
Best wishes from Josh.
Cari Parrocchiani,
