MCC Celebrated Australia's Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 2 June.
There were 13 cakes donated by our talented bakers/staff Belinda Aventi, Justine Parle, Julie O'Keeffe, Angela Morris, Paulette Catanzariti, Ivana De Benetti, Helen Panarello, Sarah O'Sullivan and Jenny Sartor, Nicole Forrest, Lucia Dickie, Claire Mitchell and Gisella Barber.
I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for their participation and generosity at our 'Biggest Morning Tea'.
This year our Auction was conducted differently by way of silent bidding, we are indeed a heartwarming community, as this year's fundraiser was a success due to your contribution, and together so far we have raised $1,260 This wouldn't be possible without your continued support and these funds will help towards research, prevention, and support services for those affected by cancer.
The Office of Regional Youth has engaged consultancy group NOUS to engage young people in workshops to identify opportunities to co-design initiatives to improve the lives of young people in their communities.
The context of the project (and workshops) is for NOUS Group to develop a Regional Action Plan. The action plan will guide the Office of Regional Youth in deciding what programs should be supported.
NOUS would like the opportunity to engage with young people to hear their insights, concerns and ideas, understand the challenges young people face, and how to solve them.
The consultancy will be conducted on Thursday 23rd July at headspace from 4pm-6pm.
Support Staff are welcome to attend with their students.
Please support this valuable consultation to facilitate opportunities and services for our young people.
