Senior School Study Periods

Study Periods

Years 11 and 12 students have a number of study periods scheduled into their program. The intention of these periods is to give Senior students the opportunity to complete class work, study in advance of exams, SACs and major assessments as well as the opportunity to confer with staff members where necessary. It is beneficial for students to attend these study periods.

If for any reason a student needs to leave school during these study periods, parental contact must be made with the Year Level Coordinator, Mrs. Sofia Vearing via a note, e-mail or phone call prior to departure. Students must also sign out at Reception, giving the reason for departure.  Signing out by students at Reception without such notification is not considered to represent parental permission. Unless this pre-organised contact is made, students will be unable to leave the school grounds during the school day. We are asking all parents to assist us in ensuring that students are safe and their whereabouts is known during school hours.
