Werribee Zoo Excursion!

Last week, Foundation children attended an excursion to the Werribee Zoo. This was to support our Integrated Studies unit, ‘Living Things’. Students learnt about the basic needs of living things and the interdependence between animals and their habitat. They went on a safari bus tour and learnt lots of facts about a range of animals! 

We were extremely proud of how well the children represented Miners Rest Primary School. Thank you to our special helpers, Mrs Nissen, Leah and Simone who came along to support us.  We hope you had as much fun as we did!
