Year 12s - UAC's Application Process
UAC’s application portal is currently open. 3rd of April. UAC will be hosting a Facebook Live demonstration of an undergraduate application including SRS and EAS applications.
A recorded demonstration is available on the UAC Facebook page as a public video for anyone to access and will assist with your application process.
Council Traineeships
Congratulations to Chloe-Ann Peterson, Shakira Kelly, Chelsea-Jade Dawes-Howarth-Hines and Jade Haines for successfully securing traineeships at the Armidale Regional Council.
Our trainees will combine the study of a Certificate II in Business Services and on-the-job training at Armidale Regional Council whilst completing their HSC.
School-based traineeship programs allow students to develop skills and knowledge and provide them with a range of options to reach their full learning potential.
Thank you to Armidale Regional Council for supporting our young people and providing them with this amazing opportunity.
KFC Traineeships
Congratulations Jamiah Jarrett, Harrison McWhirter and Josiah Andronicos for successfully securing traineeships at Armidale KFC.

Work Experience
Kerry and Olivia visit the Armidale Library each week for work experience. Not only are these girls learning new work skills, but they love visiting the friendly staff and enjoy the library vibe. Thank you to all involved.
Careers Workshop
Thank you to The Footnotes rural tour, and the industry representatives that presented this week at our school. We appreciate your visit to rural NSW and for providing our students access to up to date career information.
Our students gathered information about various careers/industries which will assist them in making informed choices when planning their career path and preparing for the world of work. The presentation was informative, engaging and interactive.
"To do" for Year 10s
Work experience has a key role in preparing you for the world of work. It is an opportunity for you to learn about the attributes, skills and knowledge you need to succeed throughout your working lives. It enables you to explore and learn about an occupation or industry by observation and participation. You can build your knowledge, develop your skills and create networks to aid you to make informed decisions about your future study and career paths.
These are exciting times. Embrace this great opportunity with confidence and challenge yourself.
Please make it your goal to organise work experience this coming week. You should secure a placement ideally before the holidays. If you are having trouble please see Mrs Hardman.
