Merriweather's Murderous Weekend

Year 12 Theatre Performance presents

Merriweather’s Murderous Weekend by Gary Davis.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend this adventurous comedy. Taking place at Duffal Hall, the best sleuths in the country arrive for one of their favourite activities - a murder mystery weekend! Also taking advantage of the potential mayhem are a couple of local thieves, hoping to cash in on the fact everyone will be too busy solving the murder to notice antiques starting to go missing. Featuring Pearl Bamford as the apparently hapless Suzy, who teams up with local burglar Brad played by Julian Clarke; Millie Bentley as the super sleuth Annie; Nellie Gillespie and Daniela Nation as the fabulous Plotter sisters; Maisy Butchart as Bernice, Georgia Gillies as Joan and Mem Thorpe as Violet - three longtime friends who love a good mystery weekend. These characters all arrive to meet their enthusiastic but frantic host Barry Merriweather played by George Goodluck and his friend Don, played by Tim Shears, who is supposed to be helping keep the plan on track. Lastly, it could not possibly be a real Whodunnit without an Inspector. Sergeant Flowerday, played by Oliver Edmiston, arrives to make sense of all this confusion.

Outdoor Leadership Weekend

This weekend Outdoor Leadership students will travel to Lake St Clair National Park and complete the Mount Rufus Circuit. The weekend is aimed at developing students' leadership skills in an outdoor context, allowing them time to develop strategies before the longer winter walks in July.
