Photo Catch-Up Day - Wednesday 17 April

If your student missed the photo days at the beginning of the year and you would like them to still have their portrait taken, students can attend our photographer's office during the School Holidays. Students will need to be in full school uniform.

 

The catch-up day will be run from 10am - 2pm at the MSP Offices:

8 Lefroy Street, North Hobart.

Reminder: Term Break Office Hours

Term One ends on Friday 12 April 2019. The School Campus Offices will be closed over the term break from Monday 15 April to Friday 26 April and will reopen on the first day of Term Two (Monday 29 April).

The Main Reception Office at Commercial Road will be open in the first week of term break until 4.30pm Thursday 18 April. This Office will be closed from Friday 19 April to Friday 26 April and will re-open at the first day of Term Two (Monday 29 April).

Reminder: The Friends' School at AGFEST | Thursday 2 May - Saturday 4 May

The Community Engagement and Enrolments teams will be at AgFest in May. We welcome all community members to drop by to say hello and connect with the School. We will be in the Australian Boarding Schools Association marquee on CWA6 Grove and 105 First Ave. We look forward to seeing you there.

Quaker Meetings for Worship

All members of The Friends' School community are welcome to attend our Meeting for Worship any Sunday from 10.00am to 11.00am at the Friends’ Meeting House at 5 Boa Vista Road.

 

Children are invited to the Quaker Children’s Meeting which is held during the Meeting for Worship.  They learn about Quaker values through a range of interesting and fun activities. At 10.50am they come into the Meeting for Worship for the last 10 minutes. Parents are welcome to attend the Meeting for the whole hour. Pre-kinder children through to Year 5 are welcome every Sunday, while older children in Years 6 to 12 meet at 10.00am on each 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month. Community Yoga

Community Yoga is now in its ninth year and welcomes all members of the School community to join an early morning class to get your day off to a cracking start. Come and energise your body and calm your mind on Wednesday from 7.45 to 8.15am in The Farrall Centre. A gold coin donation gratefully received. Sessions are taught by our School Yoga teacher, Julia Gibson.
