Moama Lights

Murray River Council is hosting an exciting new sound and light show this May called ‘Moama Lights’.  Moama Lights will be an immersive sound and light trail starting at the underside of the Echuca Moama bridge and highlighting the natural beauty through Horseshoe Lagoon and finalising at the Murray River.

For the period of 8 to 22 May 2021, each night captivating light installations will transform Horseshoe Lagoon and tell the story of Echuca Moama through light and sound. The FREE show will feature light installations and projections.

As part of the event we are hosting a colouring competition, giving local school children the chance to have their drawings featured in the show.  We are seeking artwork under the theme ‘ Why I love Living in Echuca Moama’. 100 Winning drawings will be etched into glass and beamed through cutting edge moving light technology into Horse Lagoon as part of the event!

Entry is free and open to residents from Murray River Council and Campaspe Shire. Participants need to use the attached template and draw their reason for loving where they live (eg, a best memory, moment, family, environment). The more colourful the drawing, the better it will look once made into glass.

If you would like to participate you can download and print off on A4 the attached template.
