Talking the Talk

We have engaged the services of Vanessa Hamiliton to conduct Respectful Relationships and Human Sexuality  Education across the school which commenced  last week.

As previously mentioned, Vanessa is a very experienced educator in the medical profession who has twenty five years experience working with schools to support the teaching of respectful relationships and human sexuality.  The content covered is age appropriate and our students have been very attentive and respectful in the sessions I observed last week. The sessions are an important component of the Health and Social/Emotional learning curriculum for all year levels in Victorian schools.

The teaching staff also completed a professional development session last Wednesday to support the work that Vanessa is completing with the students.
