OLOF CROSS COUNTRY

The OLOF School Cross Country event was held at Olympic Park, Rosebud Soccer and Baseball grounds last Friday the 29th of April. I had a close eye on the weather websites all day as rain was promised later in the day. The rain started to move in at about 1:40pm, which meant our 11 Year Old and 12/13 Year Old runners ran the course in ‘True Cross Country Wet  Weather’.

Congratulations to all of the students who finished or attempted the Cross Country Course.

After all of the races, results were tallied up and the house with the most points and our Cross Country Champions for 2022 is…………. McCombe (green).

Our OLOF Swimming Star Madeleine A competed at the SSV Primary State Swimming Championships on Friday the 29th of April at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Center. After all District, Division and Regional events this race consisted of the 8 fastest swimmers in Victoria in the U10 Breaststroke.

This event was live streamed and many classes tuned in at 10:00am to watch and cheer Maddie in her swim.

Maddie swam exceptionally well and finished in 7th place.

Great work Maddie! The whole school was behind you and we’re very proud of your efforts!
