A Message from the Parish - Tony Robinson

 Good evening.

At our last PPC meeting, John Costa outlined his plans for re-establishing a Social Justice Group within our Parish. The formation of this Group is a great way to promote our inclusiveness and willingness to support causes close to our faith. Thereby appealing to those in our community who are not regular Church goers, but would possibly still like to participate in assisting in a cause that they feel is very worthwhile.

John would like to have a diversified group of participants, willing to help. An invitation to join is going out to all areas of our Parish. As both schools play key roles in our Parish, as well as supporting Parish activities, we would like to extend an invitation to the parents of your children at your school to join our Social Justice Group, along with a teaching representative from each school.

To assist in providing information on the planned group, I have attached an outline of the groups charter and information from the Archdiocese on our Social Justice challenges. Can you please advise John Costa on any expressions of interest.

All the best,

Tony Robinson

Don't forget about the parish website which has fabulous articles and children’s activities. Also each week in the Family Page and Fun (scan QR code to go straight to page)

https://www.stkevinsparish.org.au/childrens-family-page/

section of the website there are links to that weekend's Gospel activities. There are two gospel links: one for the juniors and one for the seniors. These activities can be downloaded and printed or just viewed. These worksheets will help the children understand the gospel message for that particular reading.
