Student Exchange Australia New Zealand: New Volunteer and Community Involvement Scholarships
These scholarships are open to students who are actively involved in their community and have a desire to help build the community and make a difference to the people around them.
Successful scholarship applicants receive a substantial discount on the normal fee program.

Temora Youth in Aviation Expo and TFI fly-in.
The Temora Youth in Aviation Expo and Temora Flyers Inc fly-in is on Saturday 10th of September 2016 until Sunday 11th of September 2016. This day will include various activities and seminars designed for youth to understand career opportunities in Aviation, aviation is not just about becoming a pilot it has various other career opportunities for people of all types of interests.
The day will consist of:
- Seminars with various people (to be confirmed)
- Paid flights will be available during the day
- Dinner and breakfast
- Live music
- And a whole heap of fun and entertainment!

Taste of Electrical Engineering 2016
26th – 28th September 2016,
School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, UNSW Kensington
The workshops are for students in Year 10 and Year 11, with an interest in maths, science and problem solving. The cost is $125 and applications close on the 31st August.

Study Overseas information evening reminder
The intention of this evening is to provide Year 10, 11 and 12 students and parents with an opportunity to meet representatives from a range of over 30 overseas tertiary institutions from across North America, UK, New Zealand and more. The evening will take place in an ‘expo’ format where attendees will have time to speak with university representatives about their overseas study options. At 6.00pm there will be simultaneous workshops on the North American and UK undergraduate application processes. These workshops will be repeated at 6.50pm so attendees will have an opportunity to attend another workshop.
This event will be held at Ascham School, 188 New South Head Road, Edgecliff, with easy access directly opposite from Edgecliff Train Station and parking is available in the Edgecliff Centre.

Country to Canberra’s 2016 Leadership Competition
At least 10 young women will win an amazing, all-expenses paid ‘Power Trip’ prize to Canberra to meet inspiring politicians and CEOs, attend exclusive events, tour Parliament, and excitingly, receive an entire day of leadership and public speaking training from organisations like TEDxCanberra! Winners also score online mentorship sessions and access to our alumni network.
Entries must be submitted via email to contact@countrytocanberra.com.au by 11.00 pm AEST 9th September 2016. entrants must be: Female students who are attending school in Years 10, 11 or 12 in 2016. Be 15 years of age by 20th November 2016.
Attend a school that is located at least 50 kilometres away from a town with a population 80,000 persons or more.
