Year 12 Design & Technology and Visual Arts Exhibition

Mater Dei opened its doors last Thursday to a joint exhibition with both the Year 12 Design and Technology and Visual Arts students displaying their work. It was the first time such a collaboration has happened in the College and the success of the night will see it continue into the future. There was a fabulous crowd and a range of visitors with parents, family, friends, staff and students and even some former Mater Dei students attending the night, which confirmed it was a great success.
The students presented their work, which in most cases was is in the final stages of production and spoke about their design or artwork with those that inquired. It was an excellent opportunity to receive some last minute feedback as the Design and Technology projects are due this week and the Visual Arts Body of Work will be due next Monday 29th of August.
We would like to thank everyone who helped in so many different ways, which ensured the success of the night. And last of all, we would like to thank the students for the time, dedication and the creative ingenuity of their projects and artworks.
