Parent Payment Arrangements 2022

Thanks for your patience as we put in place Department of Education parent payment arrangement policies updated late 2021.

We would like to thank all the families that have made contributions towards college charges. We do continue to encourage families to make a contribution as these funds that helps to improve student resources and make our school community an even better place to learn for our students.

What have these contributions been used for?

In the past 2 years, we have updated our IT servers for improved IT infrastructure to facilitate online communication and printing within the school environment.

Updating our library resources to support student literacy. This is a key focus item for Macleod College Annual Implementation Plan, and we have been able to provide more engaging and positive spaces, activities and experiences.

Refurbished outdoor timber seats for students to enjoy, plus ongoing internal maintenance of our classrooms.

It has also supported an enhanced garden maintenance program, which is an important part of the outdoor spaces.

In 2022, the college plans to focus on a few projects:

  • Enhancing the primary school front garden areas by our maintenance team. This will complement our current upgrade to the front of the school, which is near completion. We are all very excited and can’t wait.
  • Investing an additional $7000 to the successful application of a Shade Sail grant of $25,000. This investment will be installed on the west side of the new science building, where students can enjoy the new seating area and remain sun safe.
  • Adding water bottle refill stations and bubblers around the college to remain a COVID-safe environment.
